“This Day’s Thought,” established in January 2000, is a nonprofit ministry devoted to providing Christian encouragement and inspiration. Under the leadership of Greg Potzer and with the invaluable support of volunteers, this 501(c)(3) organization began as a personal initiative over 50 years ago. Inspired by his mother, Greg started collecting meaningful quotes on 3×5 cards—a practice that laid the foundation for the ministry’s daily messages.

Each weekday, subscribers receive an email featuring “This Day’s Thought,” “This Day’s Verse” (Bible verses from various translations), and occasionally “This Day’s Smile” or “This Day’s Reprise,” which highlights impactful quotes worth revisiting.
